What is Venicemarathon?
Venicemarathon is one of the best-known running events connected with Venice, historically linking the Brenta Riviera, the mainland and the lagoon city. The exact 2027 format will be added once official regulations are published.
Race distances
NOT YET PUBLISHED FOR 2027: recent editions have offered several distances, but we will not automatically carry the 2026 42K, 21K and 10K programme into 2027.
2027 course
NOT YET PUBLISHED: the 2026 route is not presented as the 2027 route. Start, mainland sections, Ponte della Libertà and finish will be updated from the official map.
The Venice finish
The Venice setting is central to the event, but the exact 2027 finish, spectator access and closures still require official confirmation.
2027 registration
UPDATING: entry fees, deadlines and conditions will be added when the organiser publishes them.
Transport
Race weekend can involve road closures, shuttles and service changes. 2027 operational transport details will be added once announced.
For general mainland connections, see getting to Venice from Marghera.
Where to stay
Marghera is practical for people arriving by car: Rossi Apartment and Dimora Castelli offer free private parking and connections to Mestre and Venice. They are independent accommodation and are not official Venicemarathon partners.
