When12–15 NOVEMBER 2026•Venezia

Venice Noir returns from 12 to 15 November 2026 for four days of crime, noir and thriller writing. The international schedule is now published, with panels, conversations, signings and appearances by Italian and international authors.

01

The 2026 programme is now online

The official international schedule has been published. Sessions cover Venetian Gothic, the Italian giallo, Dr Jekyll, Agatha Christie, spy fiction and the relationship between faith and crime writing. Re-check times and rooms before attending because programme details can still change.

02

International authors and guests

The 2026 edition includes names such as Ian Rankin, Denise Mina, Lucy Worsley, Mark Billingham, Clare Mackintosh, Elly Griffiths, Abir Mukherjee, Anna Mazzola and many more. The official authors page remains the best source for late changes.

03

Where it takes place

The festival uses several venues in Venice’s historic centre. Official pages mention Ateneo Veneto, Teatro La Fenice, the Ridotto at Hotel Monaco, Sant’Apollonia and Studium bookshop. Always check the venue attached to each individual session.

04

Admission and booking

The official festival site says the main events are free to attend, while individual sessions may still require registration or booking. Pick your priority talks in advance and confirm the current access instructions online.

Marghera Venice Apartments tip

If you want to attend several talks in one day, check the venues first. The programme is spread across the historic centre and walking between locations can take longer than the map suggests.
